NotesWe will be expanding to Bay Harbor this sailing season. We will have 2 charter boats (2017 Catalina 355 and 2017 Marlow Hunter 37) based in Bay Harbor Lake Marina for 2025. We hope to add at least 1 more boat for 2026 (three total). And more beyond that. We already service 3-4 other boats (not in charter) that have seasonal slips in Bay Harbor and will continue to service these boats. Overall, we are looking for a knowledgeable, experienced sailor who is flexible on time and good with people. How many hours per week you can work is dependent on your skill level and if you have a USCG Captain License. This is a part time job but could be a full time seasonal job if you are a licensed captain and can perform some service work. We are starting off small but would like to expand the Bay Harbor base in upcoming years and having the right person is crucial for this. Please take a look at our job board for a detailed description on this position.

NotesJoin the Premier Sailing School in Northern California For over 45 years, we have been a leader in sailing education, consistently ranked among the top sailing schools in the United States. Our commitment to excellence, innovative teaching methods, and outstanding student experience make us the best in the industry. Located in downtown San Francisco at South Beach Harbor—right next to Oracle Park—our base is in one of the finest marinas on the West Coast. With no long channels to navigate, you’ll be sailing just five minutes after leaving the dock. While a USCG license is great to have, it is not required to join our team. We take pride in having the youngest and best-maintained fleet on the West Coast, featuring high-performance boats such as the Andrews 21, J/80, and J/105. To ensure top-quality instruction, we keep class sizes small—just two students per instructor at the Basic Keelboat Sailing (BKS) level and three students at the Basic Coastal Cruising (BCC) level—providing a semi-private learning experience that produces the best sailors possible. We offer both part-time and full-time positions, with competitive pay starting at $25 per hour. If you also skipper charters, tips can be highly lucrative, often bringing total earnings to $50+ per hour. Many of our team members have been with us for over 30 years, a testament to our incredible work environment. Join the best crew in the country and be part of a school that lives by the motto: "We Are in the Fun Business – If We're Not Having It, They're Not Buying It."
