CURRENT OPPORTUNITIES
We are seeking a Marketing Creative with strong design, marketing, web, and social media skills to lead and execute creative across four nationally recognized education brands: American Sailing, American Boating, North U, and American Sailing Vacations. This role sits at the intersection of strategy support and hands-on creation— participating in strategic development of campaigns and owning the visual and creative execution in partnership with other team members. Must be energized to produce high-quality content that inspires, educates, and grows our communities of sailors and boaters.
You will report directly to the CMO and collaborate closely with marketing, business development, education, and membership teams to bring integrated campaigns to life across digital, social, and paid media. The ideal candidate is equal parts creative leader, skilled marketer, and knowledgeable sailor/boater.
Key Responsibilities
Creative Initiative & Brand Development
- Work with CMO to develop the creative direction across all four brands while maintaining distinct brand voices and visual identities
- Translate marketing objectives into compelling creative concepts and integrated campaigns
- Ensure creative consistency and quality across all channels and platforms
Content Creation & Design
- Create high-impact visual assets using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects)
- Confidence in writing copy for deliverables, including ad copy, landing pages, emails, and more
- Design and produce marketing emails, social media content, digital ads, landing page assets, and campaign visuals
- Support video and motion content for education, marketing, and brand storytelling
Campaign Planning & Execution
- Plan and execute multi-channel campaigns from concept through delivery
- Develop creative for paid digital advertising on Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and Google (Search, Display, YouTube)
- Collaborate with the full marketing team on timelines, deliverables, and performance goals
Digital Advertising & Performance Collaboration
- Create and iterate on ad creative informed by performance insights and testing
- Work closely with marketing leads to refine messaging and creative based on results
Organization & Communication
- Manage multiple projects across brands with strong attention to detail and deadlines
- Communicate ideas clearly and confidently to internal stakeholders
- Maintain organized creative systems, files, and workflows
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional creative experience in design, content, or creative leadership roles
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
- Proficient in Constant Contact, Omnisend, MailChimp, or similar email marketing systems
- Proven experience creating social media content and digital advertising assets
- Strong understanding of Meta and Google ad platforms from a creative perspective
- Demonstrated experience planning and executing integrated campaigns
- Excellent organizational, communication, and collaboration skills
- Hands-on experience sailing and/or boating, with a genuine passion for on-water life and education
